A Memory of Hounslow.

does anyone remember MR BLEZZARD the head at wellington school in the late sixties early seventies?
I can still remember my first day at the infants side, walked to school with mum , got to the entrance near the wreck and proceeded to have it on me toes . needless to say mum caught me and took me in and I ended up in class 1g with MRS GROCOTT, good times

I remember Mr Blezzard. He was my children headmaster in 1972 onward. I remember he was a very likeable man, with nice manners! My kids really respected him. Something that is missing today.
I remember Mr Blezzard rocking on the edge of the stage during morning assembly.
I think Mrs Grocott was my first crush.
my god , mrs grocott was my first teacher , class 1a I think.
I remember growing cress In her class and making tie dye hankies, playing in the yard in the sunshine....we lived in kingswood ave for quite a while up until 75 and then moved to bedfont.
good times
Started there in 1971 until leaving in 1977. Remember Mr Blezzard, head teacher. Mrs Grocott was an absolute Babe, and the wonderful Mr Kelly, who rode his bike to school. I lived in Moulton Ave before moving to Wesley Ave, then leaving London in 1991. The toilets were grim though !!!
Another thing I remember was in the 4th year, getting the coach to Hounslow swimming baths for the games lesson, absolutely hated it and spent most of the time hiding in the cubicles down the side of the pool.
