What Happened To 53 Wellington Road North, Houndslow West ??

A Memory of Hounslow.

My grandmother left England on 27th September 1923 for Beria Mozambique. Her address on the ships log is given as 53 Wellington Road North, Houndslow.

I have been over to have a look hoping to find this house, but the address seems no longer to exist.

The houses on the town centre side of Wellington Road North 38 - 52 are still there and intact Victorian Terrace Homes.

Her house would presumably been on the other side of the road being an odd number 53 but the old victorian house here have gone being replaced by modern development and St Micheal & St Martin Catholic School.

The last older victorian houses on the (Heath) side of Wellington Road North end at corner of Cambridge Road No 139 so I assume between north corner of Cambridge and the A3006 there used to be more Victorian Terrace houses numbers 137 - 1 but this seems strange as there doesn't seem enough space for 137 houses on this part of the road.

Can anyone tell me anything about what used to be on the Heath-side end on Wellington Road North from Cambridge Road to Bath Road please.
