More about this scene
This scene in the centre of the pretty village of Hutton-le-Hole on the edge of the North York Moors is unchanged in the last 50 years. The stone-built, pantile-roofed cottages still cluster around the white-railed green with its series of footbridges over the beck, in what is now a Conservation Area in the North York Moors National Park.
