“ I was just searching for a photograph of a shop that my Grandfather and Father ran at 7 Bridge Street, Wye. Great to find one. My family ran the paper shop from 1962 until I think the Kettles took over. I can't be sure of the end date as both my Grandfather and father have now passed. I can remember living there as a young boy (from age of 4). I also remember the shop being flooded when the river broke it banks. I thought I would just share this with you. “Just received the map and photo both on canvas on wood frames.
These are excellent, the image is sharp and crisp, I was a bit concerned because it was on canvas but it is very good.
The wooden frames are excellent, very robust and well finished.
I didn't want the standard glass frame as the image would look a bit odd because it was small compared with the overall frame so I took a gamble on having the canvas ones as the size is just the image plus a bit.
Very happy with these.
