More about this scene

Situated on the corner of Queen's Road and Westwood Drive, this guest house was also a victim of changing times. For many years it was run as a Methodist guesthouse, and Alan Titchmarsh's mother worked here for a number of happy years. The Hollybrook closed in the late 1970s and was demolished in 1980. New houses now occupy the site, but the adjoining cottage still remains.
