More about this scene

The tiny and isolated village of Keld stands high up in Swaledale (1100ft), surrounded by beautiful walking country; it is a favourite with lovers of the wild northern dales. All around are waterfalls like Kisdon Force and Stonesdale Beck Falls, and overlooking the village looms the brooding height of Rogan's Seat (2204ft). In the village stands the old Chapel, rebuilt in 1860, and the Public Hall and Reading Room of 1926. Swaledale
