Kibworth Beauchamp, Station Street c.1955

More about this scene
A typical station approach of late 19th-century houses and the aptly named Railway pub. The pretty white brick station building with its cast iron latticed windows is situated out of shot to the left and seems, at the end of the 20th century, to be empty and disused. The pretty eclectic range of 1880s cottages on the left remain virtually unaltered, as do the buildings on the right.
