More about this scene
This magnificent tour de force of flint and stone chequerwork was built in 1421 for the Guild of Holy Trinity, a wealthy group of merchants. Above the many-mullioned rectangular window of the porch are the arms of Edward the Sixth and Elizabeth. Many civic treasures are held within, including the Red Book of Lynn, in which are recorded the municipal records from 1204 to 1392. The matching town hall was built in 1895.
