Rack Park

A Memory of Kingsbridge.

My family lived in Kingsbridge in the 50's & 60's, firstly in a 2 bed terrace in Church St. then, when we needed more space Henacre Road, Rack Park, i got my fist job in Salcombe around 65 at 15 then when traveling got too much, in a gents outfitters bottom of Fore St, Regretfully (in some ways) moved away in 69 to hopefully improve employment prospects which were not good at the time. Met my future wife who knocked me into shape, had two children and good married life, and am now a widower in my 77th year living in East Sussex with my two dogs. My eldest daughter and family are nearby and i luckily see my 2 (twins) grand children weekly. If any of my old friends or any one who remembers the Pedrick clan (I had 5 younger siblings, Joy, Jeffrey, Claire, Alyn, and Janet) see this please get in touch. i don't have much contact with the outside world these days.
