Does Anyone Remember My Grandparents?
A Memory of Llanbradach.
My grandparents William Joseph Hughes and Edith May Hughes nee Moore are both deceased now - they grew up in Llanbradach . I have a wedding photograph of them aged 18 getting married in the late 1920s in the church in Llanbradach Edith's mother was my great grandmother Hannah Jane Moore - she later lived in Nantgarw Rd in Caerphilly. William ( Bill ) started off as a coal miner. They eventually ran a bed and breakfast in Windsor Terrace Penarth ( no 26 ) On Bills side of the family we have family in Llanbradach - but I've not met them .. my father was Selwyn Hughes - he died young. His sister Marian died about three years ago .. can anyone help ? Elaine Hughes, Bethesda , Gwynedd North Wales
