Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene
This view looks south towards St Giles Cripplegate Church. The road has now been truncated to allow for the building of the Barbican; the church survived severe Second World War bombing to stand in the way of the development, which was completed in the early 1980s. Today it is impossible to walk ahead from this spot, as St Giles is now a waterside church (see image number L1305706 for modern comparison view).
