Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

This ancient fortress has served as arsenal, prison and royal residence, and is comprised of an irregular mass of buildings erected at various periods down the centuries. It was begun by William Conqueror, and it is his keep, the White Tower, that still dominates the scene.The moat was drained in 1843 and sown with grasses and shrubs.

Not a memory obviously but a fact discovered when doing family research. My Great Grandfather's eldest sister was married to a Grenadier Guard in The Chapel Royal at the Tower. Her husband Giles was stationed there at the time. The date was 1860.
