More about this scene
The Sanctuary is now well surfaced to accomodate motor traffic, and a 'Keep Left' notice has been fixed to the lamp-post at the end of Queen Victoria Street. The other signs point to the National Library for the Blind in Tufton Street and men's and women's lavatories for tourists.
