More about this scene
Lyme Regis straddles the border between Dorset and Devon, between two stretches of very unstable coastline. These produce a wondrous harvest of fossils, attracting fossil-hunters and geologists from far afield. Several fossil shops thrive in the town, for this has become quite an industry in Lyme in recent years.
