Maidstone
A Memory of Maidstone.
I was born in Maidstone 19 Hardy Street. Went to St Paul's School.
I started at Northborough School.The house was converted into flats.at the same time my mum had twins.so had to move out .And moved to Milton Street. So went to Westborough School.We then moved to Shepway estate Middlesex rd .then went to Mangravite School .I then went to the new Senacre Secondry School.But it was not finished .So we had to catch a bus to Vinters park for the first term.
There were buses from all around Shepway like this one

While I lived at Hardy street remember 2 toys that I had a toy garage looked a bit like Roots Garage in Mill street.

The other was a pedal car a copy of a austin a40 with the Austin badge .
would race a fried around the block but always lost as his was a lot lighter.
mine I've see in what's it worth books so with I still had it.
