The years were 61 and 62. I was the son of an American Serviceman stationed at the Air Base. My father chose to send me to the local elementary school. I was a tan kid from Florida starting the 1st grade In England! My parents would laugh as they heard my speech change and I become one of the local kids. My first grade teacher was Mrs. Hunt.
