More about this scene
This rural valley, in the parish of Vaynor, was in Breconshire until 1974. Pontsticill is an old community, and in recent years it has undergone many changes. The Baptist chapel has been converted into a residential dwelling. Two public houses here, the Red Cow and the Butchers Arms, have a long history.
