She had two daughters Alice and Vimmy
Her son was Jonny?
She had Monkey that she used to push about in a pram
I remember Verty and her 2 daughters, Vimmy and Alice
Her son was Jonny?
She used to have a monkey that she pushed about in a pram. Lovely times.
I'm trying to find out about Fred Watson (b about 1905, but, whilst there are many references, they don't sound like the colourful character I have been told about. I think he married Nellie Wainwright b1908 and had a daughter Hazel Noreen Watson b1938 and a son Brian. I was told he was a gypsy, but can't find any proof
He was a carpenter and I remember him turning up on my girlfriend's doorstep one day about 1976 saying he was her grand father and showed us a gypsy round topped caravan made from matchsticks, which he said he had made
I think they lived in Love Lane known then as Redskin Village
