Staying In The Manor Hotel On Holiday
A Memory of Mundesley.
When I was 12 years old my family came to Mundesley for the first time. We stayed in the Manor Hotel. It was me, my brother, mother and father and my lovely grannie. I remember loving my stay here, the food was excellent, the people so friendly and being kissed in the swimming pool by a boy who was older than me called Robert. (Maybe that's what brought me back many many years later to live in the upper part of the village in Cowper Close!) I also found the one letter he'd written to me showing his address was 11 Station Road. It appears he may have lived where the old estate agents was near the Lifeboat Charity shop?
I still love Mundesley.
