I remember the day you were born. We were four girls - Myra Roberts, Virginia Mitchell, Sheila Ford and me (all born in 1943)- watching from outside Corner House waiting for you to arrive and then you were held up at the window for us to see. In 1953 your pram was transformed into the coronation coach and Mr Muggeridge made four hobby horses for us girls and we were dressed up as coachmen as if pulling the coach and walked from Lunsford Cross to Ninfield for the Carnival and won 1st prize. I have a photo of this. I also remember your brother Gary and what a good swimmer he was. There are so many memories of living at Lunsford Cross we could chat for a week!! e.mail: maggielaing@aol.com
