On the left is Mrs Foster's farmhouse. This view taken behind my granny's house - I would have been 3 then. I spent hours playing on the bridge (see other photo) and used to walk to the stream through the churchyard to go fishing.

Re the photo of Northlew Bridge, I am sure this is me, the tallest girl, my sister the smallest girl and the other is my cousin. My grandparents lived in Northlew and we went down from Bolton to visit for holidays.
