More about this scene

This tiny street of small shops offers a glimpse of the city's gleaming white castle, which rises from a great mound raised in prehistoric times. Until the 19th century, the castle keep was in use as a prison. The narrow passage was built in the early 19th century to link the market at the castle with the central market place.

I remember going into the Jenny Lind the day Prince Andrew was born, the 19th Feb 1960. I had swelling in my Neck left from mumps and had radium treatment. I was on the Gannon Ward and can also remember the side ward which seemed like a glass conservatory. The nurses were lovely and they had a lovely playroom and dolls house. I too remember the green walls and pink toothpaste that tasted lovely.
