Nottingham, Long Row East 1949

More about this scene
The Long Row frontage is dominated by the Black Boy Hotel with its fantastically decorated façade. This famous Watson Fothergill building was to remain for only a further 14 years before being replaced by a faceless shop. This was obviously a time when cars were allowed to park with little restriction.
