My brother was a firefighter at the time and attended this tragic incident has anyone personal memories off this ? I am looking for photos off said incident as well? J Perrin

Hello I was involved in that tragic train. crash of June 6 th 1975 at 2.06am as a telephone operator at George Eliot Hospital. Also one of the Nuneaton Ambulance Officers on duty at the time shared your surname, would the officer be a relative?
For photos go to Google Nuneaton Train Crash and you will get photos of the dreadful incident. I am sure you are rightly very proud of your brother as the fire fighters. Ambulance services, police, doctors and nurses and all staff at both the Manor and George Eliot Hospital did outstanding work for days on end. Plus the general public too as Nuneaton came together to give help in any way they could, But that was always the spirit of the people of Nuneaton, God bless.
