More about this scene
This view is from the church tower. The gate in the wall opposite the church gate was not there in the 1927 photograph. The school chapel was designed by Mr G E S Streatfield and built by Messrs Bowman of Stamford. It is in the shape of a Latin cross, with short transepts and a short chancel ending in an apse.
