More about this scene
We are west of Addlestone. Here the A320 Guildford Road meets the A319 Chobham Road and the B3121, Murray Road, from Addlestone at what is now a large roundabout. The Otter pub, a 1930s Surrey vernacular- style road-house, has now been transformed into a farmyard complex: the upper floor of the main block has been white clap-boarded and given a tiled lean-to veranda, while extensions to the left read like farm buildings and culminate in a fake oast house - picturesque and fun.
