I used to work for a radio paging company in the 1960's called Radio Intercom. It was based in Batts Lane, next to the old fire station. I wonder, does anyone have pictures or memories of this company. I believe it changed it's name to Verhagen Electronics after I left. I have many pleasant memories of working for Radio Intercom, and often wonder were my old colleagues are now. If any of you are out there, please get in touch: tim.tree@btopenworld.com. How funny! We now own and live in this house. It has barely changed since this photograph, although it is no longer a guest house and its name is different. There are some barns and a coach house in the background which have been partly demolished; a small conservatory has been added to the left of the porch.
