Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

Born at Alloway, Ayrshire in 1759, Burns's love of poetry was instilled in him by his teacher, John Murdoch. Burns died of rheumatic fever in 1796, contracting it after falling asleep by the roadside on his way home from a heavy drinking session.

I loved saving the gollys from the jam jars to send them away and get a badge back

The picture of the High Street, Paisley is part of my family history. My grandfather, Thomas Paton, worked for his brother, James, who ran a wholesale and mercantile stationers in the High Street. This would have been in the last decades of the 19th century, as it is likely James died around 1898.
