I fondly remember "Barrowell Green swimming pool. After the war it was on weekly visit.
Now hears a thing opposite the pool was a old derelict house who lived there? and what happened to the house?

Yes lovely memories of the swimming pool, my mother took me there a lot during the summers. I lived in Conniscliffe Road from 1937 to 1958, wonder if anyone remembers me, my name was Kathleen Cuff, went to Silver Street Infants school then Hazelbury Girls School, brother Ken and Sister Sheila. It was a lovely quiet happy place to grow up in.
