My First 22 Years
A Memory of Patchway.
I was born at 48 Durban Road pathway in Jan 1944. Went to school at pathway Junior school and then to Patchway Secondry Modern School as it was called then. I had so many friends whilst growing up and played in the fields and at the nut woods up the by pass. I knew the area like the back of my hand then. Now I couldn't find my way around
I left Patchway for Australia in 1968. I now live at South Mission Beach in far North Queensland. a little different to my early years in Patchway.
I live just 100 metres from the beach right opposite Dunk Island. Its always warm to hot here and that suits me just fine.
Often I think back and remember friends and places and girlfriends, in a sort of melancholy way.
if anyone remembers me I would really love to talk to them. I can be contacted at. tommosue@bigpond.com.
Regards. Tom Oram
