As we look north towards Market Square, Hutchinson's tobacconist shop is at the corner of Langton Street. Most of the buildings in King Street have remained unchanged except for the Crown Hotel, the bay window of which can be seen on the far right. This old coaching inn opened in 1794 but was demolished some years ago to make way for a modern supermarket.
