Pershore's Fair began in the reign of Henry III to provide funds for the restoration of the presbytery. It was held in the churchyard until the mid 1800s. Merchants would come from right across the Vale of Evesham and the Cotswolds to sell their wares. Local villagers still make their way to Pershore for their shopping at least once a week.

I Would like to know if anyone remembers the toy and record shop young activities as i used to buy my Records from there also dose any one have any photos of the store and of the old swimming pool

I would like to discover any information about my grandparents Tom and Lillian Robbins who lived in Church Lane, Pinvin circa 1940's. or about any of the Tom Robbin's siblings: Frank Robbins, Harold Robbins, Ada Robbins. I was only 4 years old when this photo was taken but clearly remember WALKING across the frozen river to it with my dad and sister 3 years later in 1963 from my granddad's garden, which is almost opposite the weir, which is next to the lock .....
My father was stationed at RAF Pershore in the early 50's and I went to Pershore Infants School. We lived in a caravan on the camp before moving into the old cookhouse that served as married quarters then. Anyone got a photo of the camp at that time?
