Lived Near The Church In The 50,S.
A Memory of Plympton.
I lived in Hele Gardens Plympton St Maurice in the 1950.s and attended Plympton Grammar School as did my wife.
Does any one remember the name of the vicar of Plympton St,Maurice at that time? I think he had a close relation
serving in the RAF. I am now 82 and memory not so good although I do remember happy times at school in the Combined Cadet Force and visits to several air stations during school holidays. David Owen lived just around
the corner from the church, I don,t know if he is still going strong?

I lived in Hele Gardens Plympton St Maurice in the 1950,s.
I believe the the name of the vicar at St Maurice Church was the Rev Sholto Douglas.
David Owen now Lord Owen still going.
I met David Owen as Dr Owen in the mid 60,s.
