Port Sunlight, The Post Office c.1960

More about this scene
The post office is the black and white half-timbered building on the left. Immediately to the left, but out of shot, is the Gladstone Theatre, which was opened as Port Sunlight's first public building by W E Gladstone in 1891. The building on the extreme right was the village library when this photograph was taken, but it is now the Heritage Centre and Information Office.
