Prestbury, The Manor House 1903

More about this scene
At the bottom of the street is the bridge over the River Bollin and the Manor house. Although the front betrays its 19th- century restoration, take a step back and one can see the complex Tudor chimneys of the original manor house. At the back the owners have recently found the remains of an Elizabethan knot garden, further proof of the house`s ancient origins.
