The War Years
A Memory of Rostherne.
My partner was evacuated from East London to Rostherene during the war years and has many fond memories of this place. It has lead me to look into it and hopefully surprise him shortly with a visit. He stayed at Shaw Green Farm along with his brother and is always telling me stories about his time there.
If anyone remembers these times and maybe some of the children that were sent from London please let me know.
