Hi Linda. The Lawrence Sheriffe school is on Clifton Road in Rugby. It is flanked by Whitehall Road and Hillmorton Road.
I was a pupil from 1949 to 1952 and still have a lot of happy memories of the school and of some of the masters. I am now 87 years old and live in the US. By coincidence the death of King George V1 and Princess Elizabeth's return from Kenya to assume the throne was announced while I was still at the Sheriff and now I have viewed her passing all these years later. I only wish I had joined the Old Laurentians and kept in touch with my old school.
