More about this scene
This delightful house, originally known as Halton Grange, was built by the soap manufacturer, Thomas Johnson in the 1850s. It was designed to emulate Queen Victorias home on the Isle of Wight, Osbourne House. Bought by the Council in the 1930s it was then converted for use as a Town Hall.
