Saltburn By The Sea, The Queen Hotel 1891

More about this scene
The impressive edifice of the Queen's Hotel is angled and was originally envisaged to form one section of a 'circus' of buildings, close to the approach road to the town's railway station. In the event, only one side of this 'circus' was ever completed. The Queen's Hotel is built in distinctive white 'Pease' brick as is found in many buildings in the town.
