More about this scene
This bleak, wind-blasted village, the most westerly in England, is known locally as Church Town. The low granite tower of St Senana looks down on the first and last hotels in England. King Arthur is said to have celebrated a victory over the Danes by feasting at a rock nearby called the Table Mên.
