Just to the right of the photograph, partially obscured by the tree is 27 High Street, where my family lived and, after the second world war, I lived with my Grand Mother, Mary Dixon, until 1953. The house to the left was occupied by Miss Wilkinson and to the left again by the 'Barnes' family.
