Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

A pretty village with various Georgian houses, Slinfold lies in the countryside to the west of Horsham. The church contains tablets to members of the Cowper family, ancestors of William Cowper, the 18th-century poet. One of the most prominent features in this photograph is the moss-covered roof of the lychgate.

Slinfold In The War Years
I visited this site and was intrigued to find pictures of Slinfold. One of them, the village hall, recalled the time when I belonged to a village group called The Stane Street Players run by Mrs Knibbs. We performed plays there and at other village halls nearby. John Delves
This is Alan Edgar Fullwood's memory and the reference to Slinfold is right at the bottom of this narration: Edgar Fullwood was my father.  He was born in Birmingham England in what is to me the beginning of our history in 1875 on October 31st, and he was the grandson of Joseph and Ann whose birth and life times are unknown to me.  His parents were know to me as a school boy; Henry, his father was born in Birmingham and ...see more

Genealogy & Research Images

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
