The house on the right was when John Lambert lived, he owned and ran the shop on the right (it was a general store; grocer, hardware and building supplies at the rear).
My Dad, Jim Williams owned the butchers shop, the white building, second left; we lived behind the shop. I was born in the house, my twin sister was born in KIng's Lynn Hospital, 20 hours later.

In 1957, when I was about 9 years old my father was stationed at Sculthorpe Air Force Base. We lived at The Grange estate before we moved to the base. It was a wonderful old estate enclosed by a brick wall. The former stables were renovated to serve to families. My wife and I spent one year ( circa 1953 ) living in an apartment at Park House Farm where Tony Warner raised sugar beets and pigs. The Manor House was built on a Roman foundation which then formed the basement of the building. I was stationed at Sculthorpe AFB in Fakenham.
