A Memory of Southall.

After the War my dad worked in the garden at Wolfe's. He used to brjng home bags of extrusions and we'd trim them for extra money.

My Father was John Barrett, after the war he was the gardener, what was your association?
Hi
We had no ass with the rubber works but they always wanted trimmers and workers
are you or was you from Townsend Road?
No, I was only ten, I didn't have anything to do with Wolfe's. Sorry but Townshend Road isn't familiar to me.
My dad was a lab technician at Wolfe's,from before war till made redundant mid sixties. He used to bring home small amount of mercury at times, for me to play with, usually disappeared into carpet pile.
My grandad worked for Wolfe’s, don’t remember when he started but was working there c1955 - 1970.
His name was Fred Clark, nobby was his nickname.
He worked in the canteen when he got near retirement age.
He would bring home work for my Nan to trim
