More about this scene
Tynwald is the oldest unbroken parliament in the world. Godred Crovan created the 'House of Keys', and in his day it included representatives from the Hebrides, but since 1266 it has been comprised solely of Manxmen. The modern Court of Tynwald includes the island's Governor, the ten-member Legislative Council, and the House of Keys.
