Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene
These gaunt 19th-century ruins stand on top of the motte built in the late 11th century by Robert of Tosny on land granted to him by William the Conqueror. In 1348 the original timber castle was replaced in stone by Ralph Stafford, a successful soldier and friend of Edward III - he later became Earl of Stafford. In 1334 he had abducted and then married Margaret, an heiress, whose father Hugh Audley died in 1347, providing him with a substantial inheritance.
