Craig’s Garage
A Memory of Staines.
I lived in Ruskin Road, Craig’s Garage was on the corner. I used to go in there as a little kid and ask if someone would help me across the road to go to Weston’s paper shop. I remember you having Humber Snipes and Humber imperials for sale and the the Commer camper vans. When I learned to drive in one of your Hillman Imps. An elderly guy with a pipe taught me and put me through my test. My first car a mk1 cortina your Garage is where I used to get my petrol there with an occasional shot of redX I have fond memories of admiring your showroom cars. Happy days...
