Hello Michael Smith, I remember you moving into 26 Cherry Tree Ave,I lived at no 30 Cherry Tree Ave, & went to Matthew Arnold School,i would like to chat about our times in Staines,regards Janet Mains, nr Tucker

Hi Janet: Wow, what a good memory of me moving into 26 Cherry Tree, that must have been about 1961. I afraid I don't remember you, what age would you been I was born 1950.
Do you remember Susan Dale who lived on the corner of Beachwood and Cherry Tree? I also remember Philip Trigg, Danny Pratt, Roger Ball, Danny Young. I don't remember many of the girls as you are well aware M.A. was segregated although I do have fond memories of passing love notes to the girls as you walked through the boys area to get to the cafeteria.
I worked after school and weekends at Bob the Butchers on Staines Road almost opposite M.A.
I forgot the street name but remember getting into trouble with the police multiple times for hanging around the demolition site when they pulled the old houses down between Cherry Tree and Staines Road.
I would love to hear from you again and your memories, I could list the teachers but of course the girls had different teachers.
I am now living in Hamilton, Ontario Canada but still have relatives and visit England on a regular basis.
