More about this scene
Apart from the more modern cars parked at the kerbs, little has changed in the village. A bus stop is visible on the right, while an assortment of hardware and ironmongery lines the pavement outside Anderson's store. On the immediate left, the tobacconist and confectioner's shop has some wall-mounted machines dispensing chewing gum and other sweets, as well as a stand advertising Lyons Maid ice cream.
