Norbury's
A Memory of Stone.
Granny married George Norbury ( she already had 4 children including my Dad ) so they all lived over the ' shop' in High Street. ( 1920s )
Before the war ( it was winter ) I was born, it says Market Square, always thought that was a cold place to be born in mid winter ! May be that's why I now live in sunny Australia !
I went back and lived with Granny in Stone till I was called up for National Service. ( 1950s )
